On to Philly

Well, it's obvious the Titans have much work to do. I'm hoping this was just another tune-up, like another preseason game.

First, we couldn't buy a first down on offense. Nobody had over 50 yards except for Ward's mere 140 yards passing. He was running for his life out there. The OLine definitely needs to gel more obviously, but Cam has to make better decisions out there. We just looked like the same old uninspired offense we Titans fans are used to seeing. Touchdowns are like pulling teeth. We couldn't find the end zone until 2:42 left in the 4th quarter. I want what Tyler Shough had with new coach Kellen Moore. At least they showed some fight v the Lions.

Secondly...the secondary. Just the YAC yards (yards after catch) were despicable. We just could not get to the ball carrier and make a tackle. Are we playing two-touch out there?? We made Geno Smith look like he's on the way to the playoffs. Breece Hall was running all over us. That TD looked way too easy. Hooker, for one, did not live up to his potential.

Thirdly we had all the momentum playing at home in week One. You never want to start with a loss. Especially to the squad your new head coach had a short but not-so-sweet tenor with. I thought this team was excited to show in this first game what they had

been working on. Now we have a big chance at home again v the Eagles, a playoff team from last year and a recent Super Bowl Champion. This will be a great test to see what this Titans team can improve from week 1 to week 2.
